Meet the Founders

Although Shana and Kyeshia are organizational founders, one of the most influential motivating factors of this organization was introduced to them at a young age from their mother, Alma; the vision of exposure. Their mother traveled the country with them, exposed them to other cultures and opportunities that didn’t reside in the community in which they lived. The sisters, understand how their childhood exposure changed their vantage point and want to create rich, lasting experiences for children that will impact their lives forever.

Shana Ward-Scales is currently a human resource leader that is tasked daily with helping to secure and retain talent; to fill the gaps in the healthcare pipeline. In this role, she gained a passion to help children from the community that raised her; educating them on the various opportunities that exist within the healthcare arena. She is the mother of two, Shelbi and Jaxon, and the wife of Curtis Scales. She enjoys travelling and spending time with her family. Her motto: One of the keys to success is exposure, you don’t know your options unless you seek them and always know your worth and add tax.

Kyeshia Ward is a pharmacist that serves the delta community each day. As a community pharmacist, she strives to equip each patient with the best prescription advice that is coupled with physician orders. She is determined to expose youth from underrepresented backgrounds to clinical careers and penetrate the profession with staff members that have diverse backgrounds. She is the wife of Maurice Jordan and also enjoys traveling with her family and Escape Room adventures. Kyeshia’s motto: For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11
